Today was an extremely chill day, indeed!

Thoughts atm:

• Today consisted of sleeping, eating, babysitting, one class. Uh, that’s it.
• The weather was beautiful today though :)
• I was wearing the Amer-Apparel Cameron Mitchell tank that I bought Sami for her birthday! It’s so breezy and cozy.
• I need to make a bigger dent in completing my OBChem hw… 
• I like how my week starts out long and rough, but ends at an ease at the end of the week.
• I enjoy going naturaaaaaaal hair-wise, nowadays. It’s low-maintenance and not such a hassle anymore. Like really, what’s a straightener? hahah.
• I’m way too excited to see The Vow, hence the middle picture, hahaa.
• The teller at the bank told me she’d pay me to do her nails! :)
• I was really blind today at school. I was scared I was going to pass by people I knew and that they were going to think I was rude for not acknowledging them. haha, and like I predicted, it happened many times -__-
• Why do I even try? I be foolish sometimes. oh, I sit here laughing to myself and smh.
• If you can, speak to me in spanish! It’ll help. and that’d be awesome, so I dont feel like a complete idiot in my spanish class. HAH.
• In one of my classes, I have new friends that are exchange students from France. You know what that means. I get to hear my name how it’s supposed to be pronounced. I actually prefer that sometimes, ha.
• Finally, today Walmart clearly reminded me that Valentines Day is coming soon… haha, damnit.

My sister is absolutely talented and such a beautiful performer. It’s amazing to see her love what I loved doing in high school, Show Choir. Her passion and drive is what is so inspiring, at such a young age.

I’ve already noticed something completely different from last semester, I actually have to write, using a pen and paper…

That sounds weird, doesn’t it? Like I relied solely on technology. But yeah, last semester I only used a laptop to do all of my work for all of my classes: Psych, Bio, Exploring the Bible, Comm, and even RWS. In class, I would type out all my notes and study guides, type my rough drafts for my speeches and essays. I barely used pencils or pens, and barely went through a third pack of paper all semester.

But this semester, I actually have to write for every class. Each and every one of my classes I have to write for: Chem lectures + labs, Stats, RWS and Spanish, and possibly TFM (ill figure it out after I crash it). All my professors have told us not to bring our laptops to class, because I guess they’re not needed - only for online hw.

Ehh, first world problem: my hand hurts when I write alot -___-. Last semester I scarcely had to use a pen and paper. This semester I’ll be using a grip of paper/pens/pencils. 

Not going to complain though, hahah. Old fashion way!

Hahaha, I think this actually funny because I was just talking to someone about how it’d be awesome, errr, why can’t I just sculpt my ideal guy - personality wise. That’d be kinda cool hahah. 

Buuut since you’re asking body parts? That’s a bit awkward, and I’d rather not name names. Not to mention, it’s superficial. haha but hey, why don’t you get off anon and I’ll possibly answer? Promise to answer the best to my abilities haha.

Crazzzy to think this would be a dead year for me, but it honestly was perfect.

• Woke up-ish to my sister, who made me a mini-poster, with a page letter in the back. Reading it later in the day, seriously made me cry.
• Actually woke up, worried about how the day was going to go.
• On FB, twitter, etc!
• Came down to my family surrounding me with love, presents and breakfast :D
• Helped my auntie pack before she leaves :’(
• Went to my car, only to find presents from Justin on my front doorstep! Sneaky, tryna play off a simple “happy birthday” and leaving it the night before heheh. Loved the chocolates and clothes!
• Got ready for school. Finally straightened my hair after 2 weeks of going au naturaaaaal.
• Got a call from Spotlight Ladies and Center Stage greeting me happy birthday, while they were in the bus otw to their performance :’) 
• Drove to school, listening to One Direction, good vibes.
• Went to my only class 1-1:50, but turns out it was only a 30-minute class, woot!
• My professor said she was intrigued by my name :) 
• Met up with Kyle, to take me out for the afternoon!
• Had lunch at Loveboat Sushi! It was nice on account of us having the worst conflicting schedules this semester!
• Delicious sushi, and green tea fried ice cream? :) mmm!
• Windowshopped, while he held my wallet >:)! then went a bit crazy in the Leggo store - building stuff and planning the set we’re going to buy hahaha.
• Busted a mission back to state, merged through traffic and got home and got ready for the night!
• Met up with Jennica, Laura at my house, only to find them harassing spending time with my baby cousins.
• Got ready for the night in 10 minutes, yay!
• Picked up Aaron at a random house because he got lost, LOL “surrrrrrrry”
• Drove insanely, almost getting hit by a crazy driver -_- I’ve never been soo scared. Our lives flashed before our eyes.
• Finally made it to the Gaslamp, meeting up with everyone (Ezra, Abby, Alysa and Jiezl), barely in time for our reservation at The Old Spaghetti Factory!
• Finally Jtan and Kevin came :)
• Had a lovely dinner, acting like kids immaturely afterwards >:) keke
• Getting chocolate cherry and pistachio ice cream and singing Happy Birthday for me and @aaronapplepie :D
• Took pictures outside of The Old Spaghetti Factory! 
• Walked the streets of the Gaslamp! Helloooo creepers. Atleast I wasnt alone.
• Debating the whole time which club to go to, or even if I even wanted to hit one up.
• Trip to hustlers. These crazy people, omgggg. hahaha nuff said.
• I really liked the corsets and sequined items they had there >:) 
• Drove to Chula with everyone, to Sunset Cafe for the rest of the night for ho0o0o0okah!
• Met new people! :)
• Realized there were alot of eastlake kids there that we knew of.
• Got taken out a bit for my gift from Jtan :’) Probably the best present EVER.
• Good laughs, good vibes, good company.
• Trying to plan the rest of the night because Ezra was a badass, but we were alll exhausted. 
• Eventually took Jennica home and Aaron to his car.
• Creeped into the house, no one cuuuured :) 

Reflecting on this beautiful day, I couldnt ask for anything better. Again, I really did feel like my 19th was nothing really special, like a dead year, but it was the complete opposite! I’m so blessed, indeed. Such an eventful and memorable day/night with all my loved ones :’) 

It’s kinda cool cause my birthday has never fallen on a Friday for as long as I can remember, so pretty much it’s the beginning of my birthday weekend :D + for the past, like 6, birthdays of mine, it has always been rainy overcast, but yesterday was beautiful sunny San Diego weather :D A good way to celebrate the end of the first week of second semester - definitely needed this!<3

I love getting updates from their videos - Freak Morice. What drew me to them months ago were their One Direction covers :’) hehehe.

Through it all, this semester is looking good already!

First I woke up this morning, thinking “woot, first day of school”, then realizing I didn’t have class till 1. That was interesting, cause I had a good breakfast and SOO much time to kill. Ended up getting ready leisurely, watched dance moms and headed to school. Parking in PS 3/6, instead of 4, is actually much easier, no traffic. Saw so many people, let and right. It was nice :) Chilled around with different people. Ate at Trujillo’s on campus with Arianne, Jtan, Jiezl and Benny! Definitely getting the Sigma Pi burrito next time! Killed more time, and then Jtan walked me to my first class :)

• RWS/Brush - The class, I can already tell, will be a breeze. Knew some people and it was such a chill class. My professor is really nice and, in my opinion, such an easy-going sweetheart. She’s also works in wild life rehabilitation, it’s awesome!
• Spanish/De Joghe - I was skeptical because I wasnt sure how he was going to be, but them he was so nice! At first he started straight spanish and I was like O_O but then he discussed with the class the syllabus. We did an activity and a girl in the class fainted. It was scary, but I’m glad she’s fine. Afterwards, he let us out early because the professor was all freaked out haha. Killed time with Jeremy, then Abby Ezra & Alysa till my next class
• Organic BioChem/Metzger-McNamara - All I can say is I know forsure this will be my most challenging class. This is the class only offered to pre-nursing students, so we’re pretty much sitting next to, not only our fellow majors in nursing, but also our competition. The class itself, plus the lab, will take alot forsure, but I’m deteremined. 

I’m extremely excited for this semester. I wont be needing to lug around my laptop, and I dont have any breaks, so it’s basically more efficient. Plus the fact that I don’t start school till the afternoon, and basically-kinda have thursday/friday off, it will be different from last semester, but also very nice. 

That being said, social networks will be held off to a bare minimum! ehhh :) 

No distractions. (referring to many things…)

As winter break starts to simmer down and the thought of school is just around the corner, I’m glad to say I spent break very well, looking back on it all. Created good memories indeed! I spent it well enough and, kind of, to the point where I miss school, and always being busy. It’s safe to say, I’m excited to jump back into swing of that. My classes compared to last year are more difficult and impacted, but fun (or so I’ll try to make them)! 

The past couple of days, in particular, have been extra great. My whole family was in Vegas and I pretty much enjoyed the freedom. The fact my parents didnt ever really call was weird, but reassuring that they really do trust me. Even with them gone, I didnt go too cray, and still was responsible for myself. 

There are many small tidbits and accomplishments I’m so happy and blessed for, and I’ll continue to keep em.

I can definitely say I ended winter break on a very good note. With that said, I’m definitely going to start the semester on the right foot as well. Knowing what is coming ahead, the sacrifices, I know I’ll be able to handle and pull through. Just like last semester, except even better! My goals and plans for the future are fixed, and that’s my main priority. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Doing my own thing, doing me. Being independent and self-reliant. That’s one of the main things I love about college. Everyone has their own goal, and different paths. and I’m working through mine.  

Past month was always good company and good vibes all around. Now it’s back to books, studying, and endless hours in the 24/7 love library.

Winter Break, you treated me so well. Second semester of college, I’m ready.
